Administrators manage who has access to Business Radar in **Settings**, under **Users**, which has three tabs: **Users**, **Groups** and **Invitations**.

## Inviting a user

1. Open **Settings** and go to **Users**, then click **Invite user**.

2. Enter one or more **email addresses**, pressing Enter after each one.

3. Choose the **Role** for the people you are inviting — Member or Administrator.

4. Click **Send invitations**.

Invited people join your organisation's account and receive an email invitation.

## Tracking invitations

The **Invitations** tab lists everyone who has been invited but has not joined yet, with their email address, role, who invited them, and the invitation's status. For each invitation you can:

* **Send again** — resend the email, for example when an invitation has expired.

* **Revoke** — withdraw the invitation.

Invitations expire after a period, after which they show as **Expired** and need to be sent again.

## Roles

| Role | What it allows |
| --- | --- |
| Member | Use Business Radar: portfolios, alerts, screening and reporting. |
| Administrator | Everything a member can do, plus managing users and invitations and changing organisation-wide settings such as [Compliance settings](/articles/compliance-settings). |

To change someone's role, use the **Role** dropdown next to their name on the **Users** tab.

## Managing existing users

On the **Users** tab you can search by name or email, filter by role, and sort by name, role or last active. The menu at the end of each row offers:

* **Manage groups** — add the user to, or remove them from, user groups.

* **Send password reset** — email the user a password reset link.

* **Remove from account** — remove the user's access to Business Radar.

## Groups

Groups let you manage several people together. Create one on the **Groups** tab with **Create group**, then add members from the **Users** tab using **Manage groups**.

Groups are useful when sharing portfolios: instead of granting access person by person, you can give a whole group access at once. See [Giving colleagues access to your portfolio](/articles/setting-up-your-first-portfolio#giving-colleagues-access-to-your-portfolio).
