Data Sourcing FAQs

Does Business Radar have global coverage?
Yes. We actively monitor over 340,000 validated news sources across more than 190 countries and 100+ languages, curated from an index of over 14 million domains.
Where does your company data come from?
We maintain partnerships with industry‐leading data vendors such as Dun & Bradstreet. Our approach is to select, per country, the vendor that offers the highest quality and most comprehensive data.
Are smaller or medium‑sized companies tracked?
Yes. Unlike many systems that focus solely on large public companies, Business Radar is designed to include smaller companies by sourcing data from niche sector‑specific outlets and even the companies' own websites.
Does Business Radar include social media data (e.g., Instagram, Facebook)?
No. We focus on reputable and curated news sources, annual reports, and legal or regulatory announcements to ensure data quality and reliability.
Does adding the same company to multiple portfolios use extra allowance?
No. Your plan counts distinct companies monitored or screened, so adding the same company to several portfolios doesn't count again. Current usage can be seen in Settings, under Usage, which shows companies monitored or screened, UBO calls and compliance checks against your plan, along with the date your usage resets.
What if an article or source seems to be missing?
Coverage depends on which sources are indexed and on how a publication is linked to a company, so occasionally an article you expected may not appear. If you think coverage is incomplete for a company, or you would like a specific source to be added, email us at support@businessradar.com with the company name and, where possible, a link to the article or source. We will look into it.
