1. Accessing the Company Page

To navigate to a company page:

  • Use the search bar or browse the Companies tab to find the desired company.

    • If the company name appears in grey, it is not yet loaded into Business Radar. Loading can take up to 20 minutes, depending on the ambiguity of the company you are loading. Once ready, the name will turn black, allowing access to its details.

2. Key Features of the Company Page

2.1 Directors and Compliance Information

  • View detailed profiles of directors and board members under the Compliance tab.

  • Access key compliance data such as sanctions, adverse media, and other risks associated with individuals linked to the company.

2.2 Ownership and Corporate Linkage

  • Explore the Group Structure to understand the company’s position in a larger corporate network.

  • View Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and subsidiaries to get a comprehensive picture of ownership and relationships.

2.3 Summary of News Articles

  • The Company Page includes a summary of relevant news articles over a selected time frame (e.g., week, month, or year).

  • Summaries are tailored to your role, ensuring the information displayed aligns with your responsibilities and interests.

3. How to Adjust Your Role in Business Radar

Adjusting your role ensures the news summaries and company information are tailored to your specific needs.

  1. Navigate to your Profile Settings (accessible via the top-right menu).

  2. Give a brief description of your role under Function Role Description.

  3. Save your changes.

Your role determines how information is prioritized and displayed, enhancing the relevance of your Company Page experience.

4. Tips for Optimizing Your Company Page Experience

  • Filter News: Use filters to refine the news displayed, focusing on specific time periods, risk categories, or regions.

  • Add Manual Entities: If additional individuals or entities need to be screened, use the Add Manual Entity feature directly from the Company Page.

  • Check Company Updates: Revisit Company Pages periodically to ensure you're working with the most current data.

5. Troubleshooting and Common Questions

  • Why is the company name grey?

    • A grey name indicates the company is not yet loaded into the system. Wait up to 20 minutes for the name to turn black and become accessible.

  • Can I customize the news summaries?

    • Yes, summaries are automatically generated based on the time period and role settings. Adjust your role and filters to refine the content displayed.

Conclusion
